Identifying frequent church members with the ability to transport individuals to and from church during major church events (i.e., Liturgy both weekdays and weekends, midnight prayers, etc.)
The main contact point for all individuals needing rides to and from church
Matching and introducing potential riders with individuals in need of the service
You are responsible for maintaining a log of rides provided and list of riders available in each area (city, Northwest Suburbs, Northeast Suburbs, South Suburbs, Southwest Suburbs, etc.)
Volunteer
Assist with giving rides as able
Coordinate with Lead in advance to plan rides for the upcoming week
ADDITIONAL NOTES This service is best performed when the individual is personable and approachable. Some individuals are afraidto ask for rides and it is the job of the lead to ensure they are actively reaching out.
