Lead

• Attend Core team meetings (usually once every 3-4 months)

• Brainstorm ideas for future social events

• Assign Core team member(s) to coordinate/lead each social event

• Schedule the next 2-3 months worth of social events and leads for each

• Brainstorm and recruit potential volunteers who can help with each social event

• Determine materials, supplies, equipment, decorations, food, etc. for each event

• Administrative topics and issues/concerns/feedback

• Prepare and organize the event; create a plan with a timeline to stay on track

• Communicate with volunteers the expectations and roles and responsibilities

• Collect all required materials ahead of time

• Coordinate with Nevine to advertise event in church announcement email and Liturgy announcement slides at least 2 weeks prior to the event

• Reach out to individual congregation members to encourage them to attend events

• Arrange for volunteers to help with any setting up and cleaning up the day of the event

• Stay in contact with designated Core team member; be proactive to provide ideas and contribute to the planning of the event
